Getting Assigned
Availability forms for ITA and USTA matches are sent to the membership , listing the events we will or hope to be asked to provided officials for. You are asked to return the forms as per the instructions included with the form within two to three weeks. The scheduler will use the forms to help fill assignments. The criteria for how people are chosen for assignments are:
1) Request of tournament director
2) Competence
3) Availability
Assignments will also be posted on the CTUA calendar on Yahoo.com You can find the calendar at
www.calendar.yahoo.com/ctua4u2. You can view your assignment on or see events still needing officials
Southern Colorado

If you cannot work an assignment you accepted
Once you have accepted an assignment it is yours to work. If something changes and you find you cannot work your assignment, it is your responsibility to find your replacement. If after many attempts to find a replacement you are unsuccessful, you may contact the person who originally scheduled you and ask them if they can help you with suggestions of officials to contact. It is not the responsibility of the scheduler to find your replacement
