The Training Committee will consist of three members: the District Training Chair, a CTUA Mentor, and a member of the CTUA Board.

Purposes:

1) Recruit new officials
2) Schedule and coordinate training sessions for the CTUA
3) Select and train mentors

Goal:

To improve the quality and consistency of officiating throughout the CTUA

Procedures:

1) With the USTA, schedule, coordinate, and organize the annual training schools
2) Meet at an appropriate date to schedule an annual training calendar
3) Develop a recruiting plan to find potential new officials
4) Select and train mentors
5) Review training and mentoring procedures
6) Develop and administer an evaluation tool for mentors
7) Develop and administer an evaluation tool for rovers
